I've had this doll kit for 1 1/2 years and I am [...]. The first time I saw the dolls the little boy already had deformed arms and the father's hair was falling off. A little later in the year the little girl's leg broke and my mother had to sew it back on. Just recently again the little girl's leg broke off and the mother's. A lot of the ribbons are falling off also. The first time the little girl's leg broke off my mother said not to twist it and be very gentle so I tried to. I hadn't been playing with dolls in a while when I picked up the mother and her leg fell out. Now I'm looking for new dolls because they are breaking too much. I would not recommend these dolls unless you've had some experience with very fragile dolls and will Be VERY careful with them and won't cry if they break.

These dolls are really beautiful! The mother and daugther have really well-done hair. The hair for the father and son is not quite as attractive (you can see the seams on the boy's hair on the top of his head). My girls really like these, and they are a lot less money than the other porcelain dollhouse dolls out there.
