What counts more is the details...May 11, 2009
By K. Karnstein One of the most intelligent miniatures I have seen recently.
It is easy to pick the most common objects for a sewing scene, like fabric, pincushions, sewing machines and sewing baskets. But a Victorian lady would certainly need one of these to hold her iron, since in that age they would burn a hole in the fabric - literally - because they worked with coal on the inside, and they could not stand by themselves like the modern ones do.
If you have a Victorian sewing scene, one of these trivets is a must!
